Best add-a-leaf for 63" chevy rear springs

Best add-a-leaf for 63" chevy rear springs

So, long story short, my crappy autozone lift blocks broke on me (in the shop thank god) and broke my drive shaft yoke. So I'm looking to replace the blocks with an add-a-leaf. I'd like to get at least 2" of lift out of them, 3" would be ideal. I've seen long, short, different brands, different prices. Which one works best?

New leaf packs

I have heard that AAL produce harsh suspension travel, are a pain to put on, and die quickly (especially with wheeling). Just what I have heard. Thought I'd throw it out there.

anything long and thin would be ideal. Just look for something that works for a chevy. I hear the rancho AAL's are pretty long.

The best place would be someone like deaver or alcan. They could make you a custom add a leaf.

Ask and ye shall receive, Try these. I just put these in this past weekend on my Runner with Chebby rears. These are a great way to get some lift and not effect the spring rate. Run these with a overload and you get close to 2". With 36's it is all the lift I need. These bolt through unlike lift blocks. Nice chunk of machined steel and won't break and spit out. Made for Chebby's!!

Are you running the stock overload now? What size of shackles do you have?

Those zero rate deals only give 1" of lift. I need 2-3"


Yea stock overloads. 4 leaf plus overload.

Here's what I'm going to do instead of an add-a-leaf
