34x10.50x15 Swamper LTB's
I have some after market 15x7 rims. Will these tires fit well on this wide of rim? I went to Desert Rat to check them out and they recommend a 8.5" rim. My friend says that they should fit just fine but i want a few more opinions. Any one have these tires on rims this size? What problems can i expect if any with mounting them on a smaller rim.
Oh and one more question, about what size tires can you expect to start changing the gear ratio on? 32's?

they'll be fine- you'll have a heck of a time getting them to pop a bead on the trail. You should be able to run down to 6 PSI w/ no problems.
I run 35-12.5 x 15's MT/R's on 8" rims with no problems-
One of my wheelin' bud's just put a set of the 33-13.5 x 15 on his Heep- they are a STICKY tire! Huge, deep tread blocks w/ large voids. Not sure how liong they'll last on pavement tho, but flat out awesome off highway. But, at about $120.00 per tire, it's one of the best deals going for a hard core bias ply tire!
If your running a 4 popper and a stick, you'll need 4.88 or 5.29's with that size tire. With a V6 and stick I'd say the same, but w/ the V6 and auto tranny you might get by w/ 4.56 or 4.88 gears

they should be there but shipping is expensive so you would be better off going to a local 4x4shop and seeing if they can order some in for you. Should be around $117 or so, at least they are for me.

a friend of mine has 38x13 swampers on his 7" wide wheels. was hard as hell to find a place to mount them, but they're on there.
with 10.50s on a 15x7 you will be fine.
also i have 32s with a 2.7 and 5spd. i wouldn't say it is necessary to regear, but it would be nice. i wouldn't go higher than 33's without regearing.
but i guess it depends if you are okay with not having any power and more than normal clutch slipping in 1st.
you could put on 44's and drive it in 4 low.
