If only I could easily post all the links for Cruisers I have in my favorites... But the list so far is super good. Here's a couple good LC History and Info sites:

Brian's Toyota Off Road Page

Land Cruiser History

TLC FAQ Which is actually on Birfield.com which was mentioned already...

1960 BJ type 25: Pretty much the only place you're gonna find parts for a 25 series would be through Spectre. But, there are a few LC gurus that are into 25s and may be able to help you find parts. You can find 'em hanging out on the IH8MUD BB or on the LC Section of Pirate4x4. HTH.

If your looking to buy old restored or modified cruisers this guy is great TLC4x4.com had a chance to stop at his place in VaNuys a few yrs back and it was awsome. If I had my current job I would have bought one.

I have no personal knowledge of Vintage, but another forum I frequent does not think highly of him at all. Make your own decision.

Fully agree. From all accounts, Mushro is a horrible dealer and a con artist...

Don't know where Jeff is coming from as he is on the MUD all the time and knows how much Mushro is despised there....I wonder why he posted that??

Best.

Nope.

It uses a closed knuckle system called a "birfield"...

Go to IH8MUD.COM and go to the forums and go to the 80's section and search under "birfield"

Best.

Post '97 went to IFS, so there is where you will see the constant velocity (CV) setup.

Man-a-fre is listed up top - I used to have good dealings with these folks (even though they are spendy) but they have REALLY fallen short of the mark lately for me.

Make your own decision, though.

www.cruiserparts.net/parts/ sometimes has some good stuff used. Hit and miss with inventory.
