gears not shifting all the way?
My truck is a '94 2wd pickup (22re), 5spd manual...
When I was driving today, I had a really hard time shifting into 3rd and 4th gear, as if the stick wasn't truly engaging in the gear unless I really jammed it into place. It's like there's something stuck inside the transmission or stick that keeps me from shifting into 3rd or 4th. 1st, 2nd and 5th are all fine, with normal throw distances, and i have a problem regardless of whether the truck is on or off.
If it's just the bushing / seat for the stick, then I'm fine and will just fix it over the weekend, but what other problems am I possibly looking at? I'm way to broke to afford having a new tranny put in, and I don't have the garage to put one in myself, so bleh.

I would go with the bushing first and see how that goes. If syncros are bad, you would be better off with a new/used tranny. Other then that I would know. Hoping for the best that it is just the bushing.
