would require a custom upright to bolt a 4x solid axle spindle to it. or somehow modify a stock 4x ifs setup.

If you are running the stock 2 wd suspension, yes, there is a racing spindle swap... Several actually.... Depends on what year you are running... I can not tell, you did not post that. But it is a lift spindle... Runs the 4x4 brakes and hubs. But you have to have a uniball long travel front A-arm set up.
Or you can go custom... 2 inch snout with racing hubs and brakes.... But again, need that uniball front end.

If not, we can adapt a 85 straight axle spindle and snout / brakes to your 2wd spindle.

It's not going to be a Prerunner anytime soon or ever. But I ll use the truck for auto x and drifting I just want it to be strong and have the bigger brakes.

It's a 1990 stock 2wd spindles

With bigger tires or just high speeds, the stock brakes will fade out. Spooky to say the least when it happens...
Even with the stock 2wd spindle, you have have a bigger brake. Depending on what sized rim you are running, you can cram a big rotor in there...
17 inch rims will handle most 14 inch rotors... The bigger the diameter of the rotor, the more torque you have and better modulation (feel) Even a 13 inch rotor will have better feel than a 12 inch... But a 12 x 1.25 will haul you down from speed faster than you can accelerate.

And if you are just looking for bigger brakes, that is much easier to do than upgrading your bearing sizes... If you are not pounding the hell out of your truck of road, the 2wd spindles will be just fine with proper maintenance.
