Keep in mind these are pencil beam style lights or many people refer them to spot lights. When I had them on top of my Blazer I didn't have any glare with them on at all. They would light up anything in front of me for a good ways away. You could still even see the "line" the lights in rain or mist. Fog not so good, that's when I got a glare but to be expected.

UPDATE: I've mocked up one side in this photo here. Those of you saying to go lower what do you think? I know it's crooked. I will have to fab up new mounts but this is just a mock up.

Eddieleephd: I actually like your idea. I may do a mock up tomorrow after work and see how I like it on the sides turned forwards. That way I could keep the dummy lights in place but still have functional KC lights with a wider spread.

Update

Finally mounted both KC lights. I haven't done the wiring or anything right now and they will probably remain dummy lights. IF I decide to wire them I may relay and tap the rectangular lights to the KC lights as I'm running out of switch space. Here are the pics:

Thanks for all of your feedback guys! It was a very slow day at the shop and all of the other techs were working on their personal vehicles so I decided to get this done. If we have another slow day tomorrow then I might even mount the rear lights and wire them up, time permitting of course.
