Widest rims/tires on 2nd gen???

Widest rims/tires on 2nd gen???

What's the limit here? 10 inch width with a bit of rubbing on 12.5" wide tires???

i went to a rim store the other day to see about my 2nd Gen and they didnt recommend putting anything more than a 9 in wide rim due to rubbing of the actual rim . dunno if its for sure true, just what the guy told me last week

as far as tires go, i have no idea

I got 11.5" wide on my stock truck with no rubbing. I was using toyota stock 7" wide rims.

i have 33x12.5 on my 93 runner. they are on 15x8 black rockcrawlers

I too have 33" by 12.5" on my now lifted truck.

Well I'm really wondering more about rims, actually....I take it 8" is the widest, then?

Do you have a lift? I didn't think you could get 33" tires on without rubbing.

yeah, my bad, i forgot to include that i do have a 4inch lift. so, i guess my post was kinda not helping in that respect. my apologies

It looks like your Runner is lifted, but I wasn't sure if you had done that prior to getting your 33's. Looks nice.
