wheel spacer recommendation

I just picked up a set of 285/75/r16 BFG AT's on the stock fat 5 spoke 4runner rims and am worried about the very small amount of clearance left between the A-arm. I want to get a 1/4" spacer - any specific recommendations/cautions? Thanks

Found this while searchin the forums - good enough?

I personally would not but free floating spacers. You will have to get extended studs and no mainstream tire dealer will touch your truck with free floating spacers due to them being a safety issue. I would recommend bolt-on spacers but the smallest you can get those is 1inch. WabFab sells some good ones.

Lots of people run 1/4" spacers w/ no problems. The factory lugs are long enough for 1/4"ers.

yes factory lugs will work with 1/4 spacer but like truck fiend said no tire dealer will touch it, i work for americas tire co and we send people home all the time cause they have non bolt on spacers, oh and they make your truck vibrate at freeway speeds and under high pressure on breaking. i would never put a free floating spacer on... thats just my opinion.

I have two very high quality 1" bolt-on, aluminum, hub-centric spacers (w/ the extra 12 lug nuts) I'll sell for cheap. PM me if you want them.
