It's there! I plugged it in, but poor trucks runs badly still, but that's for another thread. Thanks all.

Glad to see you found it, sorry to hear it still runs bad. I havent followed your build thread as I am not on here often, what are the symptoms?

Ohm out the sensor and see if its in spec, spec range is 835-1400 Ohms between those 2 male posts on the connector.

Just an update. So it seems that the computer needs B+ to run properly. I checked my wiring 20 times probably and missed B+ (pin 23) in the E12 plug every damn time. Motor runs GREAT! And you the 5vz is so much more fun to work on than the 3.0! Yippe I'll be out driving...

Seems like B+ is killing everyone, thats what I had to track down to get mine running. Glad you got it working! Enjoy!

BTW the 3.4 will run flawlessly WITHOUT the cam position sensor.
