Question What years Tundra brakes for a T4R

I did a search and couldn't really find the answer.
All I need to know is what year Tundra calipers will work on my 97 4Runner? And when I buy them, does it matter iif they are from a 4x4 or not?
Thanks
TR

You have not searched well, my friend. I used 2001 calipers but what matters are the part numbers. They are buried w/ in the many posts so do some searching.

It doesn't matter whether it's a 4WD or a 2WD as they use the same brakes. Definitely go w/ 199mm in case you see two sizes (199 and 231 mm).

You want the 199mm calipers which will have a S13WE P/N cast into them.
The larger 231mm can be modded to fit and will have the 13WL P/N instead.
Most of the people who have done the mod used the first one.
