what size rims?

i currently have the stock wheels and tires on my taco. 265/70/R16.
i want to get some black rock crawler rims and wanted to know what size rims i have to get so i can still use my RT/S's.

My guess is 16X7, with 4 inch backspacing (same backspacing as stock rims. If you think you might go with larger tires at some point (ie. 285 75 16'6) you might want to go with a wider rim (16X8), but I don't know if that would be too wide to hold 265's. Might just want to talk to someone at a tire shop. I'm thinking about getting rock crawlers too, with 285 75 16 BFG MT's, from 4wheelparts.

rock crawlers are awesome IMO. they were one of the first mods i did...you wont regret getting em!

Yep, stock rims are 16x7. Is it an even 4" backspacing? I thought it was something like 4.25 or 4 3/8".

Hmmm, not sure Tom- I think Keisur told me 4", but I don't know that for a fact.
