What adapter do i need for an aftermarket oil pressure guage

im planning on getting an auto meter electrical oil pressure guage for my 87 22r, im very confused about which adapter i need ...what size are the threads in the toyota block?

10mmx1?
16mmx1.5?
14mmx1.5?
12mmx1?
12mmx1.75?

hell if anyone if board enough you could even go on summit's website and give me the part number

if those are the only options i am pretty sure that it is a 10x1

My local parts store had a kit made by Sunpro that contained a bunch of adapters. It was in their gauge section and IIRC cost me around $10. The kit had what I needed to install both an oil press and water temp gauge in my '86 truck.

I'm not sure it's metric at all... The oil sensor threading on the '95.5 - '04 Tacomas' 2.4 / 2.7 / 3.4 L engines is 1/8" BSPT (British Standard Pipe Taper), which is close but not identical to 1/8" NPT. BSPT, being a UK standard, was widely used throughout Asia for piping applications. Unfortunately, I don't have any references on 80's-era engines ...

... indicates the 1/8" BSPT threading was used on 80's-era 4-cylinders for the engine block sensor / sender fittings.

... also indicates both (a) Japanese manufacturers generally use(d) 1/8" BSPT and (b) specifically - the Toyota 22R sender uses this threading...

given that info...what could i do? will the 1/8 NPT thread into the block with the white thread tape stuff?
