Same here, I have 15's and IMO its harder trying to find a skinny ass 35.
I know tsl makes 34 10.5x15 but i dont need that aggressive of a tire..

you can get the ssr's in 35x10.5x15 and also 35x10.5x17, and they are radial and should be good on the street. only downside is they are heavy sob's. those trxus i tried out weigh 76lbs a piece and the 35x10.5x16ssr's weigh the same.

i also hear the bfg km2's in 255/85/16's ride about 34" on a taco. but if i was gonna put down the cash for those i'd go ahead and dive into the ssr's

If you have the right BS wheels, width wheels, true 35" dia tire, the right width tire you will have less trouble fitting them.

What is the exact size tire on this 4runner? What about the wheels?

35x12.5x15 on 15x8's, dunno about the backspacing

the ones i had on were 35x12.5x16's with a 16x7 with 4" bs.

Heh, I don't rub at all on the front... I DO rub nice and heavy on the rear though, even with 5" drop bumpstops and fender trimming. I gotta find this picture of it all jammed up in there.

I endeed up just taking about 5" from the side peices of the rear bumper. Now it works.

crolison yoru runner looks sweet with them 35s. i thought about the 35.1050 ssrs btu there about 260 a tire. whoa. so im gonna go with 34x10.50s. time to start cuttin. call me crazy, but i absolutely love the looks of a 3rd gen with a little chop here and there

haha we have the opposite problems. My rear didn't rub at all, but the front did.

See thats the thing about the KM2's, I heard they are really soft and dont do well on a DD..I guess ill have to wait a bit for some more long term results..

I know a couple of people that run them, and from my local buddy they are just like the km's..... loud. My bighorns on the highway are like his at 20mph.

Not gonna be running the trxus, 2 of those tires were bald and 2 were good tread, but all were out of balance and didn't ride so well.

Thanks, yeah, it's going to be a couple of years before I sas, and i'm gonna keep on modding it till i do swap it.

So the 35s that were on your truck were mounted on 15x7? Did they look like they were balooning too much at the tread to not wear evenly? I have a set of 35x12.50R15 on some 15x10s. I have a set of factry enkei 15x7 alluminum wheels that I would love to run, but want to make sure the tires aren't going to get destroyed on those little wheels

The ones on my runner were 16x7's with 4" backspacing. Didn't have any balooning problems with the 7"s Your just not going to be able to run that high of pressure in the tire. The one thing about your factory wheels is the backspacing is going to be wrong to fit a 35x12.5 properly.

Ok. I got a question to fit in with all this talk of 35's. So the other day I was helping my friend move and he had a set of 35 inch tire in his garage. Nice tires. 2 of them are in perfect shape. Doesnt look like theyve been driven on and the other two are cupped really bad. But besides that, I wanna know exactly that I have to do to my 99 4runner to make them clear on a set of 18 inch rims. Now I planned on a BL. If i do a 2.5 and extend the brake and the sterring or what ever it was. Can I get by with just that If I dont do any wheeling. Like strickly on road with these puppies haha.

Gotcha, factory is around 4.75" isnt it? that really sucks, because these freaking 15x10s are killing me, i ABSOLUTELY hate them. Just too damn wide and rub EVERYTHING!! I feel if i bring the rear up a little bit i can drop the front a little bit to get them to fit nicely with narrower wheels.

Could i run some .5" wheel spacers with the factory wheels to get them to fit properly? I dont want to have to invest in more wheels, being in college is tough and hard to come by cheap wheels.

What are those that you are running? Are their any factory steelies like that that are in a 15" wheel?

You should be able to get away with a 2.5" bl on your runner to clear 35's on the street. I could run those 35's on the street no problem (besides rubbing at full lock)

The rims with the 35's are crager soft 8's, im running stock spares on my 33x10.5s

your stock is probably 4.5", and you could run a .5" spacer up front, but you might want to get longer studs, or just 1.5" spacers.

hey guys i got a 4 inch lift on my truck with 33s, and it feels tippy. i want to put wheel spacers on, but im not sure what size i should get. any suggestions? i was thinking 2"

lol 2 inch is way to far on wheel spacers. No more than 3/4 I thought was the safe one.
