Steve Schaefer sells them. He'll get it delivered to you for basically his cost. He'll also make you a set of hoops (scroll down to see hoops) that IMHO look better than any other hoops, if that's what you want. I don't like hoops on my rig, personally. That's why I got the T-17. If you do want hoops, get them put on by Steve on the way to you, or make sure that he'll do it later.

The T-17 is sturdy enough that all they had to do was drill/cut some holes for the winch to mount on and viola, a winch mount.

You'll need a winch w/o the integrated solenoid if you want to mount on any TJM. I just drilled a couple of holes in the top of my T-17 and mounted the solenoid/control box there. Amazon has roller fairlead covers that sort-of work for the winter assault (a-salt :-)) of MagChlor or whatever your local highway department uses. You have to run your hook up into the fairlead and fold it over at just the right spot in order for the cover to fit. It should keep some of that road grime out of my cable and the rest of my winch fairly well.

To mount a winch in the T-17, you have to get the bolts tightened that hold the bar on to the brackets before you can start the bolts that hold the winch. Otherwise the winch is in the way of starting or tightening the nuts that hold the bar on the mount brackets.

HTH.

EDIT: If you do use the Warn M8000 with a roller fairlead, you have to clock the clutch control lever two bolts = 72 degrees (ten bolts = 36 degrees / bolt). This makes the control lever hit the back of the opening for it when freespooling, but it works fine.

IF you get a roller fairlead w/ the M8000, you'll also have to grind out a little of the cable opening, otherwise, with a full spool, the cable will grind on the bottom lip of the cable opening. Not sure about a Hawse fairlead. Probably works better w/o modifying the bar.

i got mine from steve at sonoran steel. i paid 130 for shipping. its $30 cheaper if you can have it shipped to a "comercial" address. i wish i would have done it because i went and picked it up myself. after he sent me the tracking info, i called the place and told them i would come and pick it up at there warehouse. they just use a standard shipping company so it wont be a problem for you to pick it up...lesson learned!!! i pm'd you the p[ricing info.

I had my t15 shipped to CircuitCity. Any business that has a loading dock I guess constitutes as commercial.. 110 shipped for me.

I also work there though, i wouldnt try it yourself inless you work at a business
