Tire Question
TIme for new rubber on my Runner. Right now I have the Goodyear RTS's. I'm contmplating replacing them with BFG A/T's. If I do that, what is the biggest size I can go?
Are there any other recommendations? Truck does a lot in the snow and a small bit of offroad stuff. Daily driver too.

If you don't mind tire noise, check and see if you can get a Firestone Destination M/T. Great snow traction, great offroad, and A/T treadwear in an M/T. I got mine through tire rack, and found they were noticably cheaper than BFG's. I've got 22000 on mine and still plenty of tread left.

I'm verry verry leary of Firestone ever since their massive recall on the Ford Explorer tires.

Well after much research I'm leaning towards Revo's. I like the look and from what I've read they are on par, and in some cases, better than the BFG's.

Yeah, I know. This is a tough decsion. I stopped by my local tire guy and I can get the Revo's for $132 per tire installed or the BFG's for $165 installed. Yes, BFG does make the size he checked the book.
The BFG is a LT tire so it'll have a deeper tread and will last longer than the revo, but when you add it up it'd $160 more.
