temperature gauge reading

Just another question on 3rd generation 4runners. What temperature does your 4runner normally run at? Mines seems to run "half way up" on the gauge. Is this normal or is this a little high?

My '96 has always run about 1/8" ("measured" at the tip of the needle) below the 1/2 way point. The OBD interface reads this as 190 degrees.
