Tail light fuse & trailer towing

Hi folks. I'm new here and I am wondering if any body can help with a problem I'm having with my 03 Tacoma's 10 amp tail light fuse blowing when I tow a trailer. Here is some background info on my truck. It is an 03 Tacoma 4x4 regular cab with the 3RZ engine. The Wiring adapter is a Drawtite Y harness that pluges into the tail light sockets with a converter box. Every time I pull the boat, the tail light fuse blows. I only lose my dash lights and tail lights. My brake and signal lights work fine. Any thoughts?

The lights on your trailer likly have a short. Take a volt meter and go through them to find the problem.
