Synthetic diff. fluid

Anyone using synthetic diff. fluid? If so,what brand and weight.I have a Truetrac rear and stock front.

Amsoil 80W90 in the rear. 75W90 in the front diff and T case, and transmission. But I had to drain and put Redline MT-90 in the transmission due to poor shifting.

I will go all Redline next time I change out.

im doin a full redline gear oil change soon with 148k on the factory stuff i figured its time

I am also about to go all syn in my diffs and trasfer case.

The only syn i could find was mobil 1 so that is what i will be using.

i just got done putting synthetic in front/rear/trans/transfer today. $40 to do them all

I had the same shifting issue on my 95 4runner with amsoil, found that 25% dino made it shift better. I dont have that issue on my 92 p/u, different trannies so the syncros must be different.


I run AmsOil Severe-Gear 75w-90 in everything. Its even in my 03 4runner, and it loves it, seems to shift itself better, in the xcase.

Thats what Randy's Ring+Pinion suggested for my Truetrac,just ordered some today,thanks.
