SR5 Fender flares

Hi, my 99 SR5 has those skinny chrome fender guards, I want to get the plastic unpainted fender flares that come with the SR5 highlander. Does anyone know what the factory OEM part numbers are? Thanks in advance.

P.S. I prefer OEM flares rather than those bushwacker flares.

It would be alot cheaper to buy the bushwacker OEM style flares than new ones from a dealer. Unless you can find some used ones. The bushwacker are great quality though.

Not sure what the part numbers are, but just give your dealer a call and they'll find them for you.

What don't you like about the skinny ones? If it's the chrome, I have a write-up to paint them black in the tech section.

Agree on calling the dealership. I had to replace my front right fender flare and one call to th dealership the part was on order. Be advised, if you want to color match you'll probably pay additional for paint and clearcoat.

I've heard of a couple of people taking their SR5 flares off so post up a "SR5 Flares Wanted" thread or keep keep this somewhere at the top and hope they read it...maybe you can get one of the nice folks here to sell them to you for cheap or maybe even FREE... happened to me twice already....

sometimes its about more than just price. Bushwacker are ok quality, but the fact remains that you have to drill them for fitment, and they are not the best fitment. Factory flares fit right the first time.

btw Pius222: the only plastic unpainted fender flares are medium sized black textured. The thick limted-style flares were painted.

the 4 styles they had were:

Small chrome
Medium Black textured
Large Painted (SR5)
Large painted (Limited)

The large fronts were the same part for the limted and SR5, but the rears were different between SR5 and Limited.

fender flares

Thanks all, I'll call the dealers up. However I've call the one close to my house several times and they've been jacking me on the price each time, therefore, I end up never buy anything from them. Here are some examples: 1) Moonroof was leaking, they are asking $500+ to replace the whole thing. 2) Factory fog light switch, they want $28/ea. 3) Auto antenna mast, they want $48. At first they want $170 to fix the problem.

I think I'll end up calling them for the part #s.

I will try to post on the "items wanted" section as well.

The skinny chrome somehow doesn't give me enough meat, I think the black plastic will be enough for me, I don't need to go to the "limited".
