Today I turned on the AC for alittle bit.. Ok I live in AZ its always gonna be hot.. I dont think Ive put a jacket on in over 2 yrs.
Well much to my surprise this funk started coming outa my vents.. and I swear it smelt like cheeze you know the really expensive kind.. After about 5 mins it went away.. (Im guessing it was still there and I got used to it.) I tried later on turning my AC on again .. and I still had a faint musty smell of Brie.. any ideas? it seems to only happen when the AC is on.. Heater was fine.. and only for a short while.. till my nose aclimates itself prolly..

It is probably just condensation that has mildewed in the system. Try keeping the vents open(do not use recirculation). Recirculation, if you use it all of the time, will allow mildew to build up. If you must use it, try to turn it off at least a few miles before you park it so that the dry AZ air can flow through the system and dry it out.
Did you check to make sure that one of your buddies hasn't pulled the old "cheese" prank on you...
