Should a clutch smell this bad?
I'm a little worried about the condition of my clutch....it doesn't slip, but whenever i put the smallest amount of load on it, (besides taking off from a stoplight or changing gears) It smells like i've been wailing on the poor thing like 15yr old who can't drive a stick. Is this normal?

I would have to say no, this is not normal. Has anything changed recently? How old is it?
The only time I have smelled burnt clutch was the time I tried to do a burnout in my 95 Civic SI. Thinking I was cool because I wasn't moving but white smoke was pouring out, I stood on the gas. Well, the white smoke was my clutch!
Not sure what that had to do with anything...anyway, I know the smell is all I am trying to say.

that is not good... something isnt right... my clutch smelled really bad for 2 weeks after i installed it...... but its been in there for around 9 months now, and i have only smelt it less than 5 times... and thats when i goofed up in driving, or was offroading..... both my fault... it is a centerforce dual friction.... but the first 2 weeks i had it, it smelled horrible all the time...
