rubbing issues?

can the addition of fender flares bring up rubbing problems? i had to take my mudflaps off a while back so my wheels with less backspacing wouldn't rub. i have 31x10.5 tires on 15x8.5 Centerlines with something like 3.75" backspacing. i'm just wondering if any of you who have the flares now noticed more rubbing after adding them?

The flares should NOT give you any probs. They are only about 1/8" thick where they screw to the fenders and they dont' shrink the wheel well size at all. This is with BushWhackers on a 2nd Gen BTW
