Requesting Pics of 99+ limited or SR5 with no rear mudflaps

I removed the running boards on my '97 sr5 and just added the small OEM front and rear mud flaps and it looks great. Gave it to my son.

I just bought a 2000 sr5 Sport and I removed the running boards from that too..yet...to remove the rear mudflaps without something to go there may look odd...

Anyone have a shot of their truck without those rear mudflaps or maybe replaced with something else..??

why would you not need rear mud flaps ?

On the limited style rear bumpers I've seen some cut off that extra black part than hangs low. That's something you could try. But the flare is pretty much integrated with the rest of it.

with em off + 2 inch bl, as it sits now

with mudflaps trimmed and modded, i like em like that, i just like takin them off and puttin them back on, gives me a reason to use a wrench

Last night I trimmed the lower flat black piece off the mudgaurd. It turned out pretty good. I like the look better.

Hey Elton - I don't off-road at all, instead pull a 22.5 foot boat around so the huge mud gaurds have to go. Of course as soon as a stone chip occurs I'll be shopping for a set to put back on...

Neliconcept - thanks for pics...that's exactly what I did. Now if I could find some fronts to match the "new" rears...

Bushwacker makes a cool fender extension product where the read mudgaurd can be removed completely and replaced with their extension...looks really good on their site. I used to take mine off while wheeling because I would get them caught up on rocks and stuff in addition to a bit of rubbing on the bolts that hold them on. Honestly I just got tired of taking them off and the putting them back on so I just leave them off now. With the land cruiser rims offset and 285 MT's it looks okay because the tires are not so inset like on the stock 4Runner rims which look kinda goofy with the limited flares IMO.
