Polyurethane control arm bushings.

I was looking at the some polyurethane front control arm bushings and a set of sway bar bushings. These are going on a 1994 4Runner 4x4 V6 5sp.

The two sets I was looking at are from Energy Suspension part numbers: 8.3108 (control arms $50ish), and 8.5114 (sway bars $20ish). Or would you go with Daystar P/N: KT03008 (control arms $40) and KT05009 (sway bars $20)

Has anyone used these? Can it be something installed in the driveway? I remember reading about someone taking them to a shop and having them pressed in, I have HUGE C-Clamp. My sway bar is missing a bushing and the other 3 are falling apart. I have 127K miles on the 4Runner. I was going to install these when I go to install my Ball Joint spacers.

So what is your vision on the poly bushings?

I pressed in some new lower control arm bushings yesterday. I did it with a very large vise and a 2.5 foot piece of pipe for a cheater bar. The new ones went in 3 times easyer than the old ones came out. I used factory bushings, I've had bad luck with poly bushings before. Last year I had to replace all the poly bushings in my Superlift upper control arms and some were completely blown. Plus they squeak like hell unless you lube them good, I recommend a good coating of dielectric grease mixed with graphite powder to quiet poly bushings. The Toyota bushings are very tough, I'm almost convenced that the old Toyota bushings are not the cause of my popping noises but as long as I got them out I replaced them with new ones anyway.
