I know the construction of these tires is outstanding, but has anybody heard or seen what the offroad performance of them is, and how the on-road handling is?

yo, i just put 35" parnelli jones' on my 07' JK wrangler 4 door and man are they SICK. I drive back and forth to baltimore from new jersey and i was originally going to go with 33" Pj's but im glad i didnt puss out. These tires are so quiet the first time i got onto the highway i forgot i was told to listen to highway noise because i swear i couldn't hear them. Best tires on the market easy. Rock climbing isn't great though cause they are a harder material (poly-carbonate composite) not rubber as your probably know. But the PJ tread is awesome off road and even better on the road. It was between these and MT claws (which my friend has on his 02' jeep) i laughed in his face when we got on the highway together in my truck... great tires
