P0330-knock sensor (bank 2)

So yesterday I decided to change my spark plugs and wires in my 97 4runner, 3.4 v6. Everything went pretty smooth. After changing them I took it for a test drive and my check engine light came on. Read the code and it gave me the P0330-bad knock sensor bank 2. I've asked around to see if the sensor goog bad has anything to do with my changing the plugs and wires but every seems to say its just coincidence. Anybody have any ideas? The truck seems to be running great! Thanks in advance!

Likely coincidence. Check for loose electrical connections.....passenger side under the throttle body, etc.

And the ground on the intake, left side, that you would have unbolted.

Most likely a coincidence, check to make sure wiring harness for the sensors didn't get pinched. It's and easy fix takes a few hours. Definitely change the sub harness for sensors, most of the time It's just the harness that goes bad due to where its located

Yea, I actually ended up re doing everything and the light came back on after reset with the scanner...ive actually noticed it running a little sluggish. Not hesitant or anything but like under powered...so since everything is going to be apart. Should I replace both sensors and the harness? I hear the harness is most likely the problem? I'll have to get a shop to do this one and I know they will try to up sell me. I wan to do it but I just don't have the tools; space etc to do it! Thanks for any input

Honestly its a pretty easy job, I did it to mine when I first bought it. I went the expensive route although did both sensors, sub harness, all gaskets, plugs, wires, valve cover gaskets etc.... It ran me a lil over 460 in oem parts but at employee price. You can tackle this yourself in a few hours with only a few tools. A lot of the times it is sub harness that goes bad due to location, I prefer to do things right the first time and not have to go back in there for any reason

So my engine light went off and I thought everything was great again, so I took it 200 miles on a trip and what do you know? My light can back on again! Can I mess my 4runner up driving it? Still seems to be running great
