Overall HP gain?
ESTIMATEDLY, what would the overall gorse power gain of this be?
Deckplate Mod
TrueFlow Air Filter (on the way).
Flowmaster 40.
All combined what is a good educated guess?

It won't be really noticeable HP but the hole in the airbox with a good flowing filter is good for 6-8whp and the exhaust might yield another 3-4 in the midrange but overall the exhaust is more for a meatier sound.

Did you really need to say it 3x or are you just trying to pad your post count?
I say do it if you're doing it for the sound, the gain is noticeable at WOT, but then again, I dont have any #'s to back that up. I did it (Deckplate, ISR mod, Vortex Muffler) and love the sound and the "gain" that I at least think I'm getting

i would say you will probabbly gain about 300 hp at the wheels total you may want to air down and drive around in 4wd all the time because you will be producing so much power it will be hard to actually get traction.
but seriosly you will gain a few HP probabbly not that noticable if your driving habbits stay the same your engine will be a little more efficent (agian if driving habbits stay the same) every little bit helps

What motor? That makes all the difference.
On my 22re, headers, intake, cat, bigger pipes, muffler, hotter wires...... probably got me 1hp
On a 3.4, might be good for 1.5hp

some food for thought... If your N/A and you put on a AEM brute force... it dyno's around 12 horsepower at redline. Check their website for charts. So i imagine that all that would put you around the same if not a little higher (12-15 horsepower) and definitely noticable.

nc994run, with your vortex muffler did u keep the factory pipes or did you just get all new ones. I was looking at burtman and I liked the sound he had on video.

Yes, the deckplate mod is indeed "dyno proven" at about 6hp. It actually gives you more gain than a $300 K&N FIPK.

Dabadina, I still have the stock size piping (2.25" IIRC) In the near future I am going to try a short (14" or so) Magnaflow muffler with 2.5" inlet and outlet diameters (got it used) and some 2.5" to 2.25" adapters, I doubt it will change any gains I get, but I'm more interested in the sound
