Talking one year anniversary

well it's been a year that i've had my runner. june 28 was the actual day, but close enought. i'm so happy to have this truck. it was then and still is my dream ride. and the mods are only beginning, i still have so much i want to do. anyway, just thought i'd share some "then" and "now" pics.

THEN:
(on my driveway)

NOW:
(on my trip last week to colorado. big picture i know)

any other folks out there who have just celebrated the big one year? geez i'm obsessed haha, but we all are, so what the hell

haha yep, but you knew that dude. but hey, what can i say, it was a mighty fine idea and it looks gooooood.

and OicnaiC, yeah it probably is pretty hard on the truck, especially with stock front suspension. that's probably why i only did it once and don't plan on it again for a while...

I've had mine for a year also . I think I got it at the very end of June last year. I've got to update my avitar pic because it looks nothing like that anymore. TJM T-15 changed everything.

Nice truck Calrockx. Black looks so good when it's clean.

I know what you mean by the whole obsession thing. I sometimes have nightmares that something bad is going to happen to my truck and then I wake up and realize it's just a bad dream.
I think I'm going to go stare at my truck for a while.

My Dad did something like that in his friends old jeep, it broke a third of the teeth off the spider gear in the front diff.

well i got the truck from longo toyota with 6 miles.

i don't have the exact number, but i should be hitting 27000 this week or next. but i don't normally drive THAT much...a bunch of those miles came from the two colorado trips.

My dad bought my truck new in 1989 and he then sold it to me in february of 2001. I've had it for 2.5 years now. It's been through a lot. lift, tires, new engine (that was fun ), and all that good stuff. I'm planning on keeping that through college, then buying a nice car or truck and keep mine as a dedicated trail rig.
