One side lower then the other on my truck
i have a 2000 tacoma and its lifted with a 6" fabtech suspension and a 2" body lift. When i looked at my truck today it looks like the drivers side rear is lower then the passanger side rear. What could have caused this? Is there any way to fix it?
Oh and if it helps i have 33x14 swampers on it. Thanks in advance.

What is a body puck problem? is it bad? is it fixable? is it expensive to fix?
The gas tank is on the drivers side.
Its not to bad but i noticed it and would like to get it fixed. Thanks for the help guys.

well how much is the difference? measure from the rim to fender on level surface to get a difference in the measurements so we know the extent of inequality. When filled up, my driver side is always just a little lower.

What I mean by "body puck" is the pucks that are between the frame and the body to lift it. Most trucks sit slightly lower on the gas tank side. But....if you've wheeled it hard, there is a possibility that the pucks may have bent or torn into the body...or perhaps sheared off. If it's only an inch, it may be something else. Crawl under there and try to see each of the body lift pucks...make sure that they haven't shifted, sheared, or torn into the body. If it's not that, tell a hefty bruddah to sit in the passenger's seat...that'll solve the problem...

I'll check on those pucks. i hope they havent broke or anything. if it shifted can it just be aligned again? How do you know if it tore into the body? What does it look like if its sheared? Thanks so much for the help. it was very disturbing when i noticed it. Thank you again.

the pucks won't shift as long as the bolt that goes through it are still there. The pucks on your taco are super easy to see as long as you know where to look so just see if they've pushed up into the body.

Measure it on level ground and get exactly how much it is off...an "inch" give or take is pretty much "zero" give or take. 
Yes, get out a level and make sure it is level ground front to back and side to side.

I was thinking it might be the tire pressure. I'll check that too. Could you guys explain what it looks like if the puck is torn into the body or sheared. Thanks for the help guys i really appreciate it.

Okay i'll check the pucks and pray that they are okay. yeah i looked at it when it was on level ground at the gas station. but i'll check it again on level ground and i'll check the tire pressure. I'll also measure it on level ground. Thanks for the help guys. You guys know your stuff. Thanks.

This is normal.
When I first noticed it on my truck I went to the dealership and measured some Tacomas out in the lot. They were ALL off anywhere from .5" to .75"

i checked the rear pucks they are okay but it looks like the driver side puck is tilted alittle or it might be alittle shorter then the other side.I also checked the tire pressure, the tire pressure on the passenger side is alittle more then on the drivers side. could the body that touches the puck be bent? Its most likely just the combonation of suspension lift and body lift. With that amount of lift, there is just a tendancy of lots of body roll. I think its pretty normal.

i had a 98 taco and i had a 3" northwest off road lift on it and it did the same thing. but now its gone and i dont have to worry about it anymore. i wouldnt worry about it, the only person that is going to notice is you (atleast thats what i did).
