OEM Parts lifespan

I would take the parts "life span" with a grain of salt, application, age, experience, maintenance, conditions, km's/mi's are all variables that are a 99% of the time a direct cause of the "failure". For example the e-brakes levers are aluminum and steel pivots and they do not get along(corrosion), you can free them up easily and lube the boots on them every time you change your diff fluid, touch up the paint on your diff housing and extend your diff breather and avoid three failures, or perhaps change your rad at 200,000km and have the vehicle undercoated and waxed. My heated garage kept 99 had different issues than my lifted 97 Toy and my other old parts truck due to how they where used and maintained.
