newb: pics of my 99 4runner edited:no running boards

so i just joined the site not to long ago and havent really posted anything. i decided to post my truck and hear what alot of people think about it not much done to it but i wouldnt trade it for another truck unless its a yota of course

99 4runner
3.4l stock motor, auto tranny
3'' suspension lift
285's on 16x8
and thats about it for now
sorry no off roading pictures yet i will have some sonn










so i finally talked the wife into lettin my take of the running boards without her complain that she is to short and here are the pics

id say take off those running boards, gives it a higher "look"

ps, i would ditch those running boards like scuba said.
it would look much better imo.

Looks good. Yeah definitely ditch the running boards and get some sliders!

yea that is what im about to do i see alot of people do not have them and i love the look without them. it makes it look higher and alot better without them

which wheels are those. did you have any problems with the a-arm with those 285's with those wheels. how muc back spacing do they have?

the whole idea of lifting your truck is to gain more ground clearance by putting on bigger tires. them ruinning boards kills your ground clearance by couple inches. slider or no slider is your call, but ever seen someone with running boards got stuck(big chevy)? one word, "ouch....."

yea i know tc4rnr i am already taking them off i know exactly what you mean.
and etan no i havent had any problems im not sure the backspacing i think i went with 4

no not e-locker i wish

and haha i know its my neighbor's and he never drives it i been trying to talk him into selling it to me for cheap
