New to Yota's... Where to start?

Hi all, My name is Chase and in the past year I purchased an 88 Yota.

Location: Wheeling, WV.
Year:1988
Model: Regular Cab Pick up
Engine: 4cly (22r?)
Transmission: 5spd
4WD
Milage:144,000 (1 owner!)
It has a black diamond plate flat bed with
a mesh cage going up along the back of the cab.
Tires are Wintertech? or something like that.

Problems: No driver side shock on the rear (the top mount got ripped off by a tree stump)

Exhaust leak near the manifold and collector.

The truck was tipped on its driver side. Only the mirror and door actually made contact with the road(the flatbed sticks out about and inch and took the hard hit), The "A" pillar is also a little bent.

Some frame rust and mount rust. Nothing tooo major but still sucks.

Reason for buying/use: When I got it, there were no problems(sorry for being an idiot and tipping it) and I picked it up for $600. I couldn't pass up a perfect 4x4 truck for that kind of money.

Right now I only use it for a little trial 4 wheeling and yard work. Also take it on the road if the snow gets more than a few inches.

I plan on getting some Super Swamper TSL's for it (29"). Also fixing the exhaust leak and door, mirror, A pillar damage. I need advice for the upper shock mount.

Now... Where do I start? Can you guys please link me to some good sites and FAQ's, Techtips and all that good stuff.

Thanks in advanced. Pics to come soon also.

For a lot of your fixes you will find good info here, just use the search botton. There is also a good tech & maintenance section with the more common items.

Welcome dude
