Just received some new 906 OME coils for my 2000 4Runner and noticed there is a 1/2 inch height difference in the coils. Is this normal? I haven't taken the old coils off yet to compare, but i don't know if I should go to the trouble as I have not worked on 4-Runners before.

Any help is greatly appreciated! I edited the spelling in the Title but it doesn't show up ?

OME has an "A" and a "B" coil. The "A" is taller and goes on the drivers side (because of the driver and gas tank weight)

Thanks Gerdo, I was hoping that was the answer. I like your 2000 setup. i got my coils and shocks from ToyTec also but they aren't home today, I appreciate the quick answer so I can install tomorrrow!

I got everything in coil wise but for some reason they sent me the shocks with the lower bushing NOT installed in the shock? Its not a two piece bushing like the original and I cant get it into the bottom of the shock no matter how hard I try. It' very frustrating to have this holding up completion. This doesn't appear to be a smart move by ARB/OME.

You should be able to either lube the bushing up and push it in OR pop the steel insert out, push in the lubed bushing and then reinsert the steel insert.

I have even pounded the lubed bushing in with a poly hammer.

OR take a pair of large washers or ratchet sockets and a long bolt/nut and tighten. This will draw the bushing in.

With the help of my 5 year old daughter, I got the bushings in. The simplest way is always the easiest! "Just step on it Daddy!" I found a block of wood to set the bottom of the shock on to keep the shock from rolling and stepped on it using my heel, done.
