New mod: Lobstermount accessory mount

Well, I was looking for a good, clean way to mount my GPS near the dash. I wanted it up high enough that I wouldn't have to look down and take my eyes off the road. I found a great mount here:

www.lobstermount.com

This thing is beefy! There are multiple positions that this can be mounted. I went with the suction mount, and it latches on super tight. I can't wait to see how it holds up offroad, my hope is that it doesn't bounce around too much when on the trail. Here's some pics:

That thing looks kinda scary. Looks like it'll come alive and try and grab you or something. Maybe take the wheel...

In terms of weight, it says the suction mount will hold up to two pounds suspended from the arm. In terms of dimensions, it can hold items up to three inches wide. Mind you, all the "fingers" on the cradle mount can be removed and not used if they're in the way (two on the side, one top, one bottom:

http://www.lobstermount.com/Cradle.pdf

Alternatively, you don't have to use the cradle, and just use a flat mount with the appropriate bolt on adapter:

The adapter pdf. says which GPS units its compatible with, mine (Garmin 76C) wasn't on there, so I went with the cradle mount. I ordered it from Bass Pro Shops.
