New guy with breather question

Bought a 2001 SR5 wth 100,500 miles and I am baselining maintenance. While I am under there I want to check breather tubes for transfer and diffs. After reading several previous old posts, I am confused about one thing.

Are the transfer case breather and the tranny case breather connected together and then vented to engine spaces OR is the transfer case vented seperately??

Does the tranny case even have a breather that is vented with hose??

Thanks for any help.

They don't have a breather that is vented to the engine compartment. The Tcase vents on top of the case. the only thing vented to the engine compartment is the front diff.

I've never heard of anyone running lines to the t-case, or tranny breathers.
