Need Opinions....

Hey guys I'm in a pinch. I have my old wheels on for the winter right now and when spring rolls around I want to put 33's on my chrome ones. The only problem is if I lift it to put the 33's on then it won't fit in my garage anymore. I am planning on buying a house this summer sometime but if that falls through I would like to stay at the place I'm at now. I live in a decent neighborhood and my Runner has always been outside till I moved here but dang it's nice to get up in the morning and not have to scrape snow and ice off my rig. So what would you guys do? Lift it and let it sit outside or leave it alone till you found a place with a taller garage door?

if you pull your yak rack off, would you have room? (assuming you don't have lights mounted on it). If so, how often do you use the rack? Could you just put it on outside when you actually need it?

that was my thinking as well. pull of your rack if you dont use it that often or dont have lights mounted to it. either way, theres gonna be a sacrifice that will have to be made.

I think I'd rather have a house with a garage to work in than have bigger tires on my rig. However, that is just my personal opinion.

Doh... Even though these lights are not wired yet I have ALOT of money tied up in that rack and lights and I dont' want to just take it off. Like I said my truck fits in there right now...barely so I'm good for a bit but I am NOT putting 31's back on my good rims. Dontcha hate dilemmas?

Are you good at construction? Buy the house and do some remodeling to get a lifted Runner into the garage.

Cebby I have about 2" clearance now so with my 2"BL and 33's I'll be about 2" from fitting or so.
