Need help with shocks for a 93

Hello all, I was wondering if there is anything I need to know before I help install new shocks all the way around on my cousin's 1993 4Runner. I have a 2001 and from what I understand it is quite difficult taking off the rear shocks. Any tips would would help me greatly. Oh, by the way, this is my first time doing it. From the looks of it, it doesn't look that difficult on the 93. Thanks.

This is a topic brought up quite often. While you are at it, you may want to curew the sagging rear end of the 93 with new rear coils. Downey, Performance Products, and OME are some of the popular brands. For shocks, you should take a look at Bilstein, Edelbrock, or Rancho (?)

Do a search and insert "rear coils". Then do a search for "shocks".

Good luck and welcome newbie...

Presoak every nut and bolt for a couple days with liquid wrench or some other penetrant.
