My new sliders and rear Bumper Bar

Here is my new rear bumper bar made for me by OZ Fabrications. It has a removable tire rack. The truck is still covered in road salt from towing for six hours through a snow storm in the mountains of West, by God, Virginia! It was worth the two trips it took to get the work done.

They also whipped up a set of kick ass sliders!

Very nice Gadget.

They both look like they will get the job done.
The rear bumper looks like it blends in perfect with the flares too.

The sliderz look great!
The shape of them reminds me of mine with the curve at the front end.

Now you are set.
Have you put on a CB yet?

I don't think that's the case. Remember, he has 2 4Runners.

Very nice!! I like what they've done. Let us know when they start producing them commercially.

They started and are taking orders right now. I don't think he is charging enough and I told him that so you better get yours ordered before he figures that out.

If he could produce a pure bolt on like yours for the rear of a 2nd gen Gadget, I'd go for it.

Any chance of him getting together with a 2nd gen owner and fabbing one up?

So far, there are only two makers of rear bumpers for the 2nd gen.

Both are the same style.
One is from All Pro, the other one is from Badland's who made my sliderz.

That style on Jeff's wife's Taco looks good. That is the same style he has for my year.
But with the sides open like that, the 2nd gen has this fugly exposed sheet metal there, and I'd rather have a bumper with full sides like yours.

Jeff can fab me one up like yours, but if someone were to start making them like yours and selling them, that would be great.

I would think that there is not a whole lot of differnce between the rear of the 2nd and 3rd gen so I think he could whip one up in much less time.

I sure he would be interested if he could get a truck to use as a pattern. Anyone with a 2nd gen near Beckley W-VA want a bumper bar made???

Gadget, you have any close ups of the latch? I like the hinge, that's one of those things -- "Why didn't I think of that?!"
