My 2000 4runner (PICs)

Been a member for a little while but mostly to gather info on what others have done to there rides. So now it's time to start posting my rig as she is almost in her completed stage (not really but with a 1 year old daughter and just getting engaged it kind of on hold)

*Note all below modifications where completed by myself with friends help. I would never take my ride to a garage if I could do it myself.

So I have a:
2000 4runner SR5
3.4L v6
Automatic
2wd

Performance mods:
  • Elbow removed
  • Airaid MIT installed
  • Cat Back exhaust, Magnaflow (Single in - Dual outs)

Exterior mods:
  • Street scene grill inserts
  • Clear Corners
  • Clear Bumpers
  • Bug Guard
  • Emblems removed from rear hatch
  • Running boards removed
  • 5% Limo Tint all rear windows
  • 26% Tint front windows

Interior mods
  • Jenson In-Dash DVD player
  • 700 Watt 4-channel bridgeable MTX amp
  • 2-10 inch MTX subs, custom made box (just something a buddy threw together)
  • Custom Speed Hut Gauge over lays
  • Nu-image Platnum A/C- heater over lay
  • Karr Alarm installed (front window roll down option)

Suspension Mods:
  • 2.5 Inch Cornfed Spacers front
  • 2 inch Confed Spacers Rear
  • Sensa-trak shocks up front
  • Modified Monroe Air-shocks rear (gives about 1.5 inches of lift at 80psi)

Tires:
BFG's AT KO's 30 9.5 r15 (love these tires)

Future add ons:
PP 1 inch coil springs all around
2 inch Roger Brown Body Lift
BFG's AT KO's 33 12.5 r15

Current Pics:
Front end:

Close up of grill and lights:

Front Right side of the rig

Back Right side of the rig

I love this Rear End (aftermarket trailer hitch was added after my sister got rear ended while driving my rig)

Back spacing isn't correct on the rims but it's 2wd it's not going to hurt

Left rear side of rig

Front look at the suspension (2.5 inch Cornfed Spacer)

Rear look at the Suspension (3 inch Cornfed Spacers Airshocks are at 0 psi)
And a good shot of the dual exhaust with slash cut tips

I have more pics just not uploaded yet. They include intirior mods and engine pics. Also pics of when I got the 4runner.

Please comment on what you guys think of my ride. I would love to hear what you think.

Here is what the Airshock setup does for me

This is the valve that is mounted to a hole already in the lefthand side of the rear bumper.

Leftside shock

Rightside Shock

rear wheel well with 80 PSI (lift is about 1.5 inches more)

rear wheel well with 0 psi

Full view of the runner with 80psi (drive way has a slight slope)

Hey looking nice there.

Just moved out of SC a few months ago. I miss it, I was there for 6 years so it was like my home away from home.

Dude that thing is pretty clean, you should go up to Hollister on a muddy day sometime hehe

Why in the world would you move somewhere other then Santa Cruz? Ha ha I just moved back from LA about 6 months ago.

I got a few buddies that go out to Hollister as much as they can. I just have to get back out there. Only problem is that my runner is 2wd and I sure as hell do not want to get stuck in the water hole like they have.

are all your rims the same? in the picture above where you mention the backspacing i can see how your rear tire sticks out but i don't see your front. I'm thinking its the angle of the photo.

Yeah all the rims are the same so it's an even look all around. I'm going to put fender flares on the truck to protect the sides from rocks. just do not want to get thing where I have to drill into the fenders.

Sweet, sweet pics! Everything came out very nice. I need to add some of those pics to the Burtman site to showcase them. Great pics.

I still have to get my other pictures of the truck back when it was stock posted. You can really see a difference between the stock hieght and the lift.
