Question Messy steering

Ok I was up on a trail run and got into indestructable mode. I decided while dropping down an incline I would explore a side trail. I dropped over into the side trail and there was a deep hole. I just dropped like a rock into it. My steering wheel whipped out of my hands and cranked hard left. I had to maneuver out backwards to get out. Upon hitting the pavement when back down at the base my steering wheel was off and the truck wandered while driving down the road. I fixed my broken idler arm that was clicking when steering but my steering wheel is still off and the truck still wanders. Whats up wit dat? Blue

probably need an alignment. i have a 2wd and my steering wheel was out of alignment and vehicle kept dragging to the right, so i had my alignment done and everything is perfect. just make sure you take it to a very reputable shop 'cuz a lot of places will do very poor alignment jobs.

Sounds to me like you either bent one or both of your tie rods ( depending on what vehicle we are talking about) or your toe is out enough to not only put your steering wheel off but cause a directional pull. Tipically toe needs to be out quite a bit in order to cause the vehicle to pull. Otherwise I would check for bent or damaged front end suspension parts and visit a compitant and trusted alignment shop.

Hey Blue,

I'd guess bent tie rods too. BTW- we've got 4ROC stickers now if you're still interested...
