Light bar options
I cant seem to find any light bars for the 3rd Gen. I have no real need for a new bumper I just want to add some light to help with the back roads.
Any one know of any?

Nope already checked them. None of those companies make one for the 3rd Gen 4RNR.
Now if the tacoma one fits then im in lick but still not sure about that.

Yeah I have a 97, but I am liking the lights mounted to the bumper look.
Any issues with air flow to the radiator?
I want to mount 2 of those black Hellas.

My fault... I thought you meant a light bar for the roof. Well I have 2 wally world brand fogs on the bumper. Just make sure you measure VERY carefully before drilling the holes. Just to avoid misaligned lights (yes I've done that). The radiator gets plenty of air as far as I can tell. I haven't had any issues with the gauge going up at all. The only thing I can see is if you have several big lights that practically cover the whole front grille, then you may have a problem. Other than that, no problems.

no air flow problems whatsoever. engine temp is still normal and i notice no adverse effects at all as a result of pugging my lights on the bumper. i figured id go ahead and drill them straight to the bumper and save up for a real bumper to mount them on later. wiring was pretty easy

After I mounted my lights to my bumper (I didnt want to spend 400 on a jaos bar), I went back to my hometown (prince george, bc). There is a store called interior offroad. I saw they were making light brackets that attatched to the front licence plate bracket. I don't know how steady it would be, but I thought the idea was pretty neat. They were selling them for 125CAD, wich was probobly pretty close to the price of the materials used. They looked really nice, all made out of aluminum.

you can always make it fit it just depends how handy you are with fabrication and modification. it may be small like drilling new holes or it may be big like welding on new brackets. never having seen one of these in person, i don't know how it mounts but it should be close

I kinda like these. Not for getting towed out of something, but they can knock a branch out of the way and you dont have to cut or drill anything...
