Kill Switch...
Anyone got any good advice on how to install a kill switch on the fuel pump or starter? I'm pretty good with wiring, just don't know where to tap into at. I just want to install a hidden toggle switch in the circuit.

I put mine in the fuel injection circuit, that way the starter will run but it will never start. Gives me a chance to catch the SOB if I hear it cranking... Picked up the line coming out of the fuse box and hid the switch really well.

I bought my truck with one already installed, It controls the fuel pump, and wont allow it to pump fuel, but it will let you start the truck. I dont know how he wired it up though! Just giving you an idea!

Dude, it had only been two hours. Give folks a chance to get back from their weekend and see the thread.
In the meantime, you might wanna search. This has been talked about a lot.
You can do a number of things... Stop the fuel pump from feeding fuel; stop the spark from firing; stop the engine from turning over; stop the ECU from even thinking about doing anything; break the feed from the MAF.
There're pluses and minuses to each of them, most of it is all about what wire you can get ahold of easiest.

Or you can just pull the EFI fuse and you get nothing! No switches that could be found and no problems.
If you wanna install a switch, wire it into the battery and the EFI. No crank and no fuel at all. Make sure you hide the switch somewhere very good.

Nope. Are you watching over my shoulder in everyone's thread?
Did you read my explanation about WHY people should search in that other thread? Did you understand it? Did you see that other people tell people to search as well? Did you see that I gave this guy an answer?

It seems that the only thing he wants to post about are complaints about my suggesting that people use the search engine.
