Just a thought

Had an interesting thought about swapping suspensions....I have a friend with a 98 4runner looking for a very mild and affordable suspension lift....also have a friend with an FJ Cruiser who has upgraded his suspension and has all the stock parts. You know where this is going...would the stock FJ parts bolt onto the runner and would they lift/improve the runner? Anyone ever thought about this or done this? I know the current runner would probably take the parts fine, but the previous gen? Just a thought.

I seriously doubt it since they are two different platforms. If he wants a mild lift, he can go the spacer way for a couple of hundred $$.

Search this one. I know it has been asked before and i am sure the answer is no. They are not compatible. As stated before a spacer lift or OME set up will give him a mild lift at a good price.
