intake silencer removal mod almost complete
All vacuum routing is properly set-up, and I found a plumbing end-cap for the main silencer. Most plumbing comes in 1/4 inch increments, and toyota had to make the hole for the main silencer 1 5/16". For anyone trying to find an end cap for this, I took a 1 1/2" threaded end cap and sanded down the edge with a dremel tool until it fit. By the way, where is the other silencer, I am kinda lost on this one.

You only have 2 Silencer boxes on your Tacoma. That's the main difference between the 4Runner and Taco intakes. So, if you have the "J" Resonator and the Front Silencer boxes removed and the holes plugged, you're done!
I hope you like it and that it provides a nice performance boost for you!
Happy Holidays. :xmas3:

Thanks for help Dr. Z,
I actually need to find an end cap for the resonator, but that will have to wait. We have ugly weather here right now. I thought I had messed something up earlier today, driving through some huge puddles. It was just the belts squeaking on me, but I pulled off into a parking lot, and popped the hood to check everything. If the rain ever stops here, I will post some pics of all the latest projects. Enjoy the holiday season.
