installing AALs

how hard is this? can i do it myself? do i just put the new leafs in below the top two, put the new center bolts in, and put the u-bolts back on (if i don't need longer ones)?

i couldn't find a write-up and searches didn't show any useful info. thanks in advance.

Toddski has a write-up in the Tech section.
That is for an '88 4Runner, but the same basic rules may apply.

Look under Maintenance & Repair in Tech.
