installed an amp - lost my lights

FIXED

ola,

i installed a small amp in my 3rd gen 4Runner last nite, it went without a hitch i thought... but this morning i noticed i've got no exterior lights other than high beam!!!

i'm hoping that its just a fuse but cant get to look at it til later so i'm hoping for some advice and/or troubleshooting info...

cheers

Howd you wire the amp? Direct to battery or tap into a wire?

amp is wired to the battery terminal and grounded to the body under one/at of the seat legs (using the screws that hold the seat in place).

the battery was disconnected/reconnected a couple of times during the install and the keys may or may not have been in the ignition at the time...

i also tried the full-time-accessory-power-mod, but my spade connectors were too small and so it was a very wobbly connection there... maybe that helped?

sorted!!!

1. i hadnt reconnected the plug to the back of the hazard button so the turn signals didnt want to work

2. um.. .this is embarrassing... fog lights only go on when the headlights are on, i didnt know this until now.

feeling a little sheepish, but you live, you break stuff, you fix it and you learn!!!
