Exclamation how easy to replace a wheel stud?

i had to throw my spare tire on in the rear of my '94Runner, and tightened one of the lugnuts just a tad too much The wheel stud snapped, is it an easy procedure to replace it? It's one of my rear wheels.

Not sure how your Runner is set up but on most older stuff you can just remove your brake drum, drive out the broken stud with a punch, then insert the new stud from the back and pull it into the splined hole by tightening the lug nut. This assumes there is room enough behind the axle hub to drive the old one out. It's not too tough to do.

You can do it that way on a '94. You will probably have to rotate the axle to give proper clearance both to drive out the old and insert the new.
