high speed skip
I have a 89 4x4 22re with 170,000 miles. It recently developed a skip only at speeds around 65 MPH and after having been driven for a couple of hours at that speed. Since it was due a tune-up I replaced plugs, wires, cap, and button. It still has the skip. It may only happen once or twice and then no skipping ( no skip at lower speed ) . I have no problems with power, starting, etc. This one is driving me nuts. Thanks in advance for any suggestions or ideas.
