Help with wheel fitment
I think I now understand compentently the differences in backspacing & offset after reading several previous posts. My question is this, will a wheel that is 16x8 with a -3mm offset properly work on my vehicle? That equates to between 4.25'' and 4.5'' of backspacing on a 8'' wheel I believe. The plan is to match these wheels with 285/75/16 BFG All-terrain's. I am also willing to go a 1'' BL to correct any large rubbing issues, as long as these wheels will not adversly affect anything else, I do not want to upgrade to aftermarket a-arm's.
(I ask this also because I asked the seller of the wheels to measure the backspacing with a measuring tape and somehow he came up with a measurement of 6 & 1/8 inches of backspacing but states the offset to be -3mm that is impossible right?)
Thanks in advance!
