Help..Spark plugs

Hey im new to this site and i think this is a really good site i have been on it for the past week checking it out and decided to join up.I have a problem with my plugs i buy brand new ones and my truck runs like crazy i can spin through 2nd and get a little in 3rd o yeah its a 1985 Carb. 22R motor and the next day my truck feels sluggish.a week or a week and a half passes by and my truck wont start....changed the plugs and WHAM starts like a brand new truck.My problem is my plugs are completely BLACK and its a wet black no corosion or anything i think maybe my truck is running rich? thanks

Yeah, it could be running rich if there is a black carbon buildup on the plugs. If the plugs are kind of oily and black then there is oil getting into the cylinders. The sparkplugs on a properly running engine should look greyish.

Oil is fouling the plugs probably. Leaking past the valves or piston rings.

Probaly time for a head job i just changed my oil and there was water in it so yeah.....its my head leaking

I would check compresion too.
